Senior Library Assistant
December 2022-Present
I currently work for the Kansas City Public Library system's vibrant Plaza location as a senior library assistant. In this capacity, I provide customer service to the second-busiest branch in the system, facilitate the Queer Voices book discussion group, manage the branch's social media, and create engaging displays.
Content Writing Intern
October 2021-August 2022
I currently work for Sage Academic Publisher as a content writing intern with the Commercial Sales division. In this role, I create engaging content across a wide range of media, communicate with a number of dispersed teams and corporate functional units, and engage in market research tasks when needed. My objective in this role has been to generate new leads among advertisers. The quality of my work has been such that I was asked to extend my internship by an additional 5 months.
Library Specialist
August 2015-June 2017
· Managed UMKC’s Medical Education Media Center-Duties included purchasing resources, creating budget, tracking expenses, working with vendors to procure appropriate software solutions, and working with instructors in order to insure collection responded to curricular needs.
